Oakenhurst Aircraft Services (The Avionics Workshop) is a EASA/FAR 145 approved, purpose built Material Repair Orginisation (MRO) based in the South East of England. We provide repair, overhaul, modification, testing and bench checking services to worldwide customer base.

 

 

Electrical Workshop Engineer

Position Summary

• Knowledge of electrical enclosures, layouts, control panels, circuit, wiring and block diagrams
• Previous experience with test equipment/test facilities
• Ability for problem solving and undertaking technical investigations in a structured and professional manner
• To undertake such testing as is required to enable the products to meet the company Quality Standards.
• Repair/Overhaul assembly or electrical wiring of components, and/or sub-assemblies.
• To undertake receipt testing, disassembly and survey on repair/overhaul units.

Be able to read, understand, and work to maintenance manuals, mfg drawings, technical bulletins. Accomplish repairs and modifications to unserviceable Line Replacement Units (LRUs) and documentation with a high quality focus and attention to detail.

Achieve schedule compliance with performing multiple tasks, works around barriers or conflicts when they exist, takes informed risks to achieve results, meets customer needs and maintains a mature problem solving attitude.

Interacts effectively with others to produce the desired results. Performs work safely, and takes actions to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Excellent written, oral communication skills
Computer literacy - MS Applications
Electrical assembly / repair
Soldering
